Dhananjaya Shrestha, President of Nepal Sambo Federation believes Nepalese Sambo team can achieve good results at Asian level tournament. Shrestha, who came Nepal after natural disaster said Nepal can win bronze medal in many event of Asian level Sambo Tournament.

After the bysy scheduled for support at effective area of earth quake, Shrestha scheduled to return Russia .World Sambo Federation and Unified Martial art Federation forwarded Nepal unit one lakh NRS each to relief disaster area. Shrestha and Nepal federation collect more and distributed goods which cost about five lakh NRS.

Shrestha, chairperson of Nepalese Sambo since five years committed to established Nepalese Sambo as South Asian power. Nepalese Sambo is in lime light after Asian beach game held at Thailand, held at 2014 A.D. Whereas, Sambo player Bhagawati Maghi receive only medal for Nepal.

In Nepal Gangobu Sambo club is active. Dhanjaya and General Secratory Uttam Shrestha have planned to establish four more club. They have also planned to entry their game at governmental sports club Tribhuwan Army Club, APF Club and Nepal Police Club. Now Seven international coach are active in Nepal. Federation have plan to extend it also.
